A Solid Weekly Hip Hop night in Gainesville

Thanks to all that came out this past Friday to the Laboratory to take part in the culture we call Hip Hop. When Quentin began unrolling the linoleum for the breakers, I thought wow, this is what it's about. The live jam session with DJ Technic, Robzilla, and that other dude was fun. I also saw several cyphers formed and operating... it was awesome. I hope that there can be one night a week out there devoted to hip hop and all that surrounds hip hop, just so everyone can get their fix if they need to that week.  Each week a different flavored hip hop theme would intertwine with the evening, guest DJ night, where any DJ can get up there and throwdown, guest MC contest to host weekly jam, MC freestyle contest with prizes, MC written contest with prizes, DJ battles, breaking battles... these are just some of the ideas for what we wanna bring to Gainesville... let DJ Robzilla and me, DJ Technic, know what you think of these ideas; if you have any other ideas, please send them our way.
